SST - Practice changes Wed-Friday - Huge News: Jrue Qualifies for Junior Nationals!

Blue/Red practice from 3:30-5:30pm Wednesday and Thursday this week.

No Morning Practice this Thursday, July 30th.

No Practice this Friday, August 1. 

Huge News: Jrue Qualifies for Junior Nationals!

We are beyond excited to share that Jrue has officially made a Junior Nationals time cut at the Futures Championship Meet last weekend! 

This is a massive accomplishment. Junior Nationals is one of the most elite meets in the country for swimmers under 18. Swimmers from all over the U.S. train for years to reach this level.

Off to California!

To support Jrue on this incredible journey, Coach Michael will be traveling with him to California, where Jrue will compete Thursday through Sunday at Junior Nationals.

As a result, we will not have practice on Friday so Coach Michael can be there for this important milestone.

50 Free: Less Than 1 Second from the Olympic Trials Cut!

Jrue didn’t just make a Junior Nationals cut. He’s also less than one second away from qualifying for the Olympic Trials in the 50 Freestyle!

Although USA Swimming hasn’t posted the full results yet for the Futures Championship Meet, his swim is expected to rank Jrue in the Top 30 swimmers in the country for his age.
