EVALUATIONS

BEFORE YOU REGISTER, PLEASE SCHEDULE AN EVALUATION FOR YOUR SWIMMER -  PLEASE CLICK HERE TO READ ABOUT OUR TEAM AND EVALUATIONS.

PRACTICE GROUPS

The coach will assign your swimmer to one of the following practice levels during the evaluation:

BLUE        RED        WHITE        YELLOW        GREEN        PURPLE        

You can pick any practice group in the assigned color level that fits your schedule/needs.  The main difference between the Select groups and Regular groups is that the Select groups have attendance requirements and meet participation requirements.

HOW TO REGISTER

You will need the following to complete the process:

  • Pick a practice group in the color level assigned by the coach during your evaluation
  • Decide which USA swimming Membership Option you would like.  See the options below in the Registration Fees section.
  • Contact information for your swimmer's doctor
  • Medical insurance information
  • Contact information for the swimmer's parents
  • Emergency contact information
  • Swimmer's T-shirt size
  • Name of your summer league team if you participate in NWAL

 

REGISTRATION FEES - 2 PARTS

  • PART 1 - COMPLETE ON SST WEBSITE - SST Team Registration $100 1st swimmer, $75 each additional swimmer per family ($250 max per family) Prorated amount will be calculated at checkout.

  • PART 2 - COMPLETE ON USA SWIMMING WEBSITE - Yearly USA Swimming Membership  DURING THE MONTH OF AUGUST, THIS REGISTRATION IS TURNED OFF AND ALL USAS REGISTRATIONS ARE POSTPONED UNTIL 9/1/2024 SO THAT THE NEW MEMBERS WILL BE REGISTERING FOR 2025 INSTEAD OF 2024.

During the registration process, you will select the type of USA Registration you would like.  There are 3 choices:

1. PREMIUM USA REGISTRATION $100 watch video, read pamphlet,  FLEX FAQ'S

2. FLEX USA REGISTRATION $30   watch video,  read pamphlet,  FLEX FAQ'S  

  • Not offered to "SELECT" groups (Blue Select, Red Select, White 1 Select, Yellow 1 Select, and Green 1 Select)
  • Limited to ages 12 & Under
  • Only allowed to participate in 2 meets per year
  • No Champs meets or above
  • Can upgrade to Premium and pay the difference at any time
  • If you have ever registered for Premium Membership, Flex is not available to you. It is intended for new members and you can't downgrade to Flex after being Premium

3. OUTREACH USA REGISTRATION $5  requires proof of financial need - Once you are approved for Outreach, you will receive a special link to complete your USA Swimming Registration.

 

MONTHLY DUES – Dues will be added to your account for the current month after you complete your registration.  This amount will be prorated based on your 1st practice with the team after your evaluation.  This amount will be charged to your credit card on file. 

OUTREACH ELIGIBILITY  CLICK HERE TO SEE OUTREACH GUIDELINES FOR ELIGIBILITY.   If your swimmer qualifies for the Outreach Program, PLEASE CLICK HERE TO UPLOAD YOUR OUTREACH DOCUMENTATION FOR APPROVAL   Please choose the Outreach option that corresponds to your preferred practice group when you complete your online registration.  If your Outreach status is not approved by Gulf Swimming, the fees will be adjusted to reflect the regular price registration.
