Dear SST Families,

Championship season is coming up fast! Please review the information below carefully — each December Champs meet has its own qualifying times, age rules, and restrictions on which meets a swimmer may attend.

🗓 Entry Deadline: Saturday, November 22

All entries must be submitted by this date.
Swimmers must enter using their best time, in the course where the time was achieved:
Y = Short Course Yards, S = Short Course Meters, L = Long Course Meters

⚠️ Important Eligibility Note

Athletes may only compete in one of the following December Championship meets:

• Southern Senior Champs (Dec 4–7)

• Gulf Age Group Champs (Dec 5–7)

• Gulf Senior Champs (Dec 12–14)

If a swimmer competes in more than one, the swimmer will be fined $20 per event, and the athlete will be removed and disqualified from the second meet. Please double-check with your coach before entering multiple meets.

🥇 SOUTHERN SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS INVITATIONAL

Dates: December 4–7, 2025
Location: CISD Natatorium – Shenandoah, TX
Format: Short Course Yards – Prelims/Finals

Eligibility:

• Must have at least one 2025–2026 Gulf Senior Champs qualifying time.

• Once qualified, swimmers may enter any other event up to meet limits.

• No cut-off times.

• Age as of December 4, 2025.

NOTE: Swimmers who attend this meet may not enter Gulf Senior Champs (Dec 12–14).

🌟 GULF AGE GROUP CHAMPIONSHIPS

Dates: December 5–7, 2025
Location: Texas A&M University – College Station, TX
Format: Short Course Yards – Prelims/Finals

Eligibility:

• Must meet 2025–2026 Gulf Short Course Age Group Champs Time Standards.

• No cut-off times.

• Swimmers with one or more qualifying times may enter other events up to limits.

• Age as of December 5, 2025.

NOTE: Swimmers who attend this meet may not enter Gulf Senior Champs (Dec 12–14).

💪 GULF SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS INVITATIONAL (13 & Over)

Dates: December 12–14, 2025

Multiple Locations:  Venues will be balanced by team numbers and assigned by Gulf Swimming. 

CyFair, Klein, Galena Park, or Fort Bend

Eligibility:

• Gulf swimmers age 13 & over.

• No qualifying or cut-off times required.

• Age as of December 12, 2025.

NOTE: Swimmers who attend Southern Senior Champs or Gulf Age Group Champs may not enter this meet.

🐠 GULF FALL CHAMPIONSHIPS (12 & Under)

Dates: December 19–21, 2025
Multiple Locations:  Venues will be balanced by team numbers and assigned by Gulf Swimming. 

Tomball, Magnolia, Klein, Friendswood, Katy, or Fort Bend

Eligibility:

• For swimmers without Gulf Age Group Champs qualifying times.

• Flex members must upgrade to Premium to participate.

• 8 & Under swimmers must have at least a B time in the next shortest event to swim distance events (200 Free, 500 Free, 200 IM).

• Age as of December 19, 2025.
